Integration between AIL TMS and Business Central

Invoice lines from your trips are sent to Business Central, and BC handles invoicing and bookkeeping.

  • Invoice lines as item lines

Trips, hours, surcharges and fees are sent to Business Central as item lines with item number, quantity and unit price. Business Central determines account and VAT from the item.

  • Business Central as master for customers

You can choose to have customer master data owned by Business Central. Customers are then transferred from BC to AIL TMS, and the master data fields are locked in the TMS. Prices and customer agreements stay in AIL TMS.

  • The invoice is sent from Business Central

Business Central sends the invoice to the customer and assigns the invoice number. The status "Invoiced" comes back to AIL TMS, so the dispatcher can see which trips are completed.

  • How to get started

We agree data direction and item numbers with your accounts team and test the integration in a Business Central sandbox before it goes live.
